Operation Christmas Child
We are kicking things off with Operation Christmas Child on October 11th! There are three ways to participate:

  1. Pack a shoebox. Boxes and instructions will be provided at the display by the front door in the near future.

  1. Sponsor a shoebox. By putting a $9.00 check (per box shipping cost) payable to Samaritan's Purse in the container provided on the display table. You may also visit the Samaritan's Purse website for instructions about sponsoring a virtual shoe box.

  1. Pray. When the boxes are delivered, Samaritan’s Purse coordinates with local congregations and pastors to provide Bible lessons along with the shoebox gifts. Graduates of these classes receive Bibles in their own language. Wednesday, November 18th is the deadline to return filled shoeboxes here to FEFC so we can meet collection deadlines.

There will be a class Sunday, October 4th at 5pm for those of you who are interested in baptism. If you would like to be baptized, please talk to a pastor or call the office at 605-338-2077.

The Women’s Ministries fall conference will be held Friday night, October 23, 2020, and Saturday, October 24, 2020, at First E Free. The theme of the conference is “Sweeter Than Honey – A Call to Women to Delight in God’s Word”. Our own Luann Menke, will be a blessing to you. Come explore the mind of God in His Word. We will learn how to find DELIGHT in Him as we savor His Word.  Come learn to: Know God more deeply, trust Him more faithfully, and obey Him more joyfully. Cost is $25 for adults, young women 8-12th grade may attend for $10.  Registration Sundays are October 11th & 18th in the foyer or in the office after October 5th .
