The Big 3

#1) Operation Christmas Child

Things are in full swing with Operation Christmas Child! There are three ways to participate:

  1. Pack a shoebox. Boxes and instructions are at the display area near the front door.
  1. Sponsor a shoebox. By putting a $9.00 check (per box shipping cost) payable to Samaritan's Purse in the container provided on the display table. Feel free to also visit the Samaritan's Purse website for instructions about sponsoring a virtual shoe box.
  1. Pray. When the shoeboxes are delivered, Samaritan’s Purse coordinates with the local congregations and pastors to provide Bible lessons along with the shoebox gifts. The graduates of these classes receive Bibles in their own   language. Wednesday, November 18th is the deadline to return filled shoeboxes to FEFC so we can meet collection deadlines.

#2) Grateful Gathering on November 19

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 19 for our pre-Thanksgiving event. We will join together for prayer and worship. Come at 6:30pm for cider and fellowship, and then at 7:00 pm, we will gather in the sanctuary to sing and pray. Despite the difficulties of this year, we have much to thank and praise God for! Your daughters ages 12 to 18 are more than welcome to attend as well. Kindly RSVP in the foyer at the Women’s Ministries table or  Mary Lynne at

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” (Rom. 12:10) We have many in our church family who are vulnerable to the novel coronavirus or cannot risk infection. If you are sick, please stay home and join our Sunday Morning Worship livestream. When you come to church, please wash your hands often, cover your cough, and maintain 6’ physical distance between families. We also encourage you to wear a mask anytime you cannot maintain 6’ physical distancing.
