The Big 3

#1) Christmas Eve Offering for Compassion Childcare

As a church, we have a tradition of taking a special Christmas Eve offering to support Compassion Childcare. Compassion exists to strengthen working poor families. They have a two-prong approach to preaching and teaching the Gospel. First, to the children each day through worship and bible reading and secondly, to the parents through case management, resource classes, housing programs, and meals. Currently, Compassion has expanded a preschool inside of our church walls which provides Christian teaching daily to preschoolers who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Please consider giving on Christmas Eve to this special organization.

Change in Food Allergy Practices: We know that some people in our church family have food  allergies. We love and care about those with allergies, but we are unable to guarantee our church building will remain free of all foods that cause allergies. Instead, much like schools, we will deal with allergies on a case-by-case basis. Therefore, we will no longer prohibit peanut products from our building. We are able to record food allergies in our church software program, so if you have an allergy that you would like us to know about, please call the church office.

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” (Rom. 12:10) We have many in our church family who are vulnerable to the novel coronavirus or cannot risk infection. If you are sick, please stay home and join our Sunday Morning Worship livestream. When you come to church, please wash your hands often, cover your cough, and maintain 6’ physical distance between families. We also encourage you to wear a mask anytime you cannot maintain 6’ physical distancing.
