The Mexico mission team is being assembled. Lord willing, Donn Hill, Rebekah Merriman, Brian Hofer, Melanie Kocke, Kenny Mungunkhet, Eva Mungunkhet, and Barry Termaat will be heading to Petlapixca, Mexico. They are scheduled to leave on Friday, February 17th and plan to return on Saturday, February 25th. Please continue to pray and to give generously to this endeavor. Thank you to everyone who helped us during national shoebox collection week. Our congregation collected 274 shoeboxes! Our regional collection site here at the church accepted 19,561 shoeboxes this year. What a tremendous blessing! The filler items you brought in helped us fill 50 shoeboxes with the youth during our packing party. Our goal is to pack 100 shoeboxes at our packing party this year. We are excited to welcome Linda and Ray Wieler to the OCC Team. Linda will be putting OCC updates on the Church's Facebook page, so check it out when you get a chance. We were so encouraged by your generous response to our request for special filler items last year that we are doing it again this year. For February and March we are collecting hygiene items such as:

        - tooth brushes

        - tooth brush holders 

        - bars of soap (in original packaging)

        - soap boxes

        - wash cloths 

        - non-medicated band aids 

        - combs & brushes

 

 

We are assembling a Prayer Team for our church plant. This team is made up of people who can commit to praying regularly for the plant. Pastor Dan will send out regular updates with requests. We also hope to gather for prayer regularly at a time still TBD. If you commit to being on this prayer team it does not mean we expect you to commit to going out as part of the church plant.
