Kids Summer Reading Challenge
The FEFC Summer Reading Challenge is starting in a few weeks.  It will start May 22nd and end August 28th. The challenge is only for youth this year. Children and their parents/supervisors can sign up in the library on or after May 22nd. Once participants have their packets, they can start reading!
There are three reading divisions:
  • Beginner is for preschoolers
  • Junior is for K - 6th grade
  • Senior is for 7th - 12th grade
We look forward to seeing new and returning readers this summer. Feel free to stop by the library if you have any questions. Thank you!

VBS Decorating Days
This year we get to partner with First Christian Reformed Church to create decorations for Monumental VBS. Their VBS is in June, so we need to help out a bit early this year. Please consider helping create this year’s decor this  Thursday, May 5th and next Monday, May 9th from 5:30-8:30pm. We will meet at First Christian Reformed Church at 2901 E 26th St. Come when you can and let’s get a jump start on this year’s VBS!
