The 2021 Kids Bike Rodeo & Races event is scheduled for the morning of June 5.  Additional details and volunteer opportunities are coming soon.  For now, please reserve that time on your calendar.

 

 

“Treasured” Vacation Bible School will take place at First E Free on Sunday, July 25th through Thursday, July 29th from 6:15pm-8:45pm. Ages 3 through 5th grade can attend. We will need lots of volunteers and we are looking forward to another year!

 

This summer we would also love to send as many students as possible to Hidden Acres, a fantastic Christian Camp in Dayton, Iowa. There are camps for many different age groups. The church is providing a $175 scholarship for any student who wants to attend. Contact the church office by May 15th to let them know if you want a scholarship. Please check out HACamps.org for more information and to  register your children.

 

 

Please join us for a 5 week summer Bible Study, “Ecclesiastes: Life Under the Sun” Precepts Method. If your summer schedule prevents an in-depth study, simply choose the "In and Out" selection which will allow you to skim the gems of this timely study and join the discussion to be held Thursday Mornings May 27th through June 24th from 9-11 AM. Our book club read for the summer will be “Idols of the Heart” by Elyse Fitzpatrick. We will meet Monday evenings, starting June 7th, from 7-8:30 pm. We will be meeting in person at FEFC but will happily include you on Zoom if you prefer. If you don’t have Amazon or need assistance ordering your book, please contact Mary Lynne to register or online here. Chris and Rachel Beck welcomed a baby girl into their family on 4/27/21. Vaida Rose was 8 lbs. 4 oz. and everyone is doing well. Congratulations to older siblings: Lily, Simon, Malia, Ivy, Eva, and Kinza.
