Pray For Me Campaign:

This fall, FEFC Youth Ministry continues the Pray For Me campaign. The goal of Pray for Me is to match our 6th-12th grade students with multiple “Prayer Champions.” A “Prayer Champion” is an adult in the congregation committed to praying for one student for an entire school year. Each Prayer Champion will be given the name of a student, specific prayer requests, and a Prayer Guide to use in praying daily for their student. This ministry works to tighten the web of intergenerational relationships in our church and equips adults to pass along a life of faith to the next generation. Please feel free to contact Pastor Dan ( ) if you want to be a Prayer Champion or if you are a parent and want to make sure your 6th-12th grade student is matched with Prayer Champions.

Membership Classes:

For those who are interested in joining our “Family of Disciples,” we will be offering a three-week membership class. This class will be held downstairs Sept. 19, 26, and Oct. 3 during the Sunday school hour in room 109. We will be discussing the Evangelical Free Church as a denomination, and the particulars of this church. If you are interested, please contact the church office. Thanks!

Our final summer all-church picnic will take place Sunday, August 29th at the McKennan Park picnic shelter at 6pm. This picnic is held in place of  our normal Sunday evening service. Fall 2021 Adult Sunday School Classes

James Sunday School Class:

Please meet us in the Fellowship Hall with Pastor Randy to learn about the book of James. ‘James’ is sometimes referred to as ‘the wisdom literature of the New Testament.’ It is an immensely practical letter clearly reflecting the practical life priorities of the teaching of the Lord Jesus. Come encounter these priorities as laid out by the Holy Spirit through James. James hopes to stamp us with Jesus’ perspective on suffering, perseverance, avoiding worldliness and a dozen other intensely practical spiritual and theological perspectives. At the end of the day, it is a book about walking with God.

Missions Sunday School Class:

We will be launching a new Sunday school class starting September 12th that addresses missions in our church. Over the past year, the FEFC missions committee and the elders have studied the 9Marks book titled “Missions.” This class is sure to get your mind cranking on some new ideas regarding missions and how our church can specifically apply those ideas. Surrounding it all is the clear Biblical principles that we can base all of our future missions’ decisions.

College & Career Sunday School Class:

Room 106 - College & Career Class with Mike Austin and Jon Walker - This class is for college students and beyond. It includes a discussion of the morning's sermon along with some short biographical looks at Christian philosophers.
