The blessing of a shoebox gift to one child can impact an entire village. If your family would like to participate, empty shoeboxes with instructions inside will be available at the OCC table. There is a pancake breakfast in the Fellowship Hall next Sunday. This is a fundraiser for this summer's Youth Group mission trip. Back in July we spent a week serving with Bridge of Hope Church in Kansas City, KS. At the breakfast, the team will also give an update on their trip and the impact it had on their lives. Suggested donation is $4/Person & $10/Family. 

 

 

Join us for the last church picnic of the summer! We are meeting at Upper Tuthill park on Sunday, August 27th at 6pm. This get together is held in place of our normal Sunday evening service. Tableware and beverages are provided, but everyone is asked to bring an entrée to share, as well as a side based on your last name: (A-K= Dessert; L-Z= Salad /Appetizer)

 

 

Do you have a passion for discipling children in the Word of God, and are you looking for a place to serve? AWANA is looking for several committed people to work with children (ages 5-12) each Wednesday night from 6:25-8pm, helping them memorize God’s word and teaching them how to apply it to their lives.

 

We are also looking for one or two couples to come alongside us this year, in training to take over the leadership of the program. This is an important ministry to our children and the greater Sioux Falls Community.

• Consider joining us on Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00am starting September 7th. We will study the book of Habakkuk by Lydia Brownbeck. • Tuesday evenings at church from 7:00-8:30pm starting Tuesday, September 12th and then every other Tuesday. We will study the book of Faith: A Study on James by Keri Folmar. The cost is $7. Please contact Mary Lynne to sign up.
