Women’s Fall Conference

The Women’s Ministries fall conference will be Saturday October 23rd, at First E Free. The theme of the conference is “Immeasurably More – The Power of a Praying Life”. Our own Cathy Hofer will be a blessing to you. Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for young women 8-12th grade. Register today or Oct 17th in the foyer or by calling the church office. The conference is meant to be a time set aside from our daily activities and responsibilities for personal refreshment, relationship building and spiritual growth. We know you won’t want to miss this opportunity for teaching & connection!

Children’s Christmas Program: Dec. 12th

This program is for children who are in preschool through 5th grade. The K-5 children will begin practicing for their Christmas program 10/10/21 at 6pm in the Sanctuary. Rehearsals will be each Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. through Dec 5. Please make every effort to have your children at these practices. We have a lot of music to learn in a short time! Please Note: The preschoolers DON’T have extra rehearsals. They practice during Sunday School. Thank you. -Sue Norberg

Operation Christmas Child

We are kicking things off starting today with Operation Christmas Child! There are several ways to participate:

  1. Pack a shoebox. Boxes and instructions are provided at the display by the front doors. The deadline to return filled shoeboxes here at church is Saturday, November. 21st.
  2. Sponsor a shoebox. You can do this by putting a check for $9.00 (per box shipping cost) payable to Samaritan's Purse in the container provided on the display table. Feel free to also visit the Samaritan's Purse website for instructions about sponsoring a virtual shoebox.
  3. Help with collections or loading. Starting this year, FEFC is the regional collection site for shoeboxes! We need lots of volunteers to help with accepting and storing local donations at our church! Please sign up at the shoe box display or call the office if you are interested.
  4. Pray. When the shoeboxes are delivered, Samaritan’s Purse coordinates with the local congregations and pastors to provide Bible lessons along with the shoebox gifts. Graduates of these classes receive Bibles in their own language.

College Care Packages:

As a church, we plan to send out care packages to all of our college-age students who are away. So, if you do indeed have children away at college, could you please send along their current mailing address? We hope to have care packages sent out soon.

Grace & Peace,
Dan Montgomery

Thank You from Donna:

Thank you dear church family for your prayers, various expressions of sympathy, and memorial since the passing of my father. It gives great comfort to know that Dad is with his Lord and Savior for eternity.
