The Big 3

#1) 9 Marks Sunday School Class
Beginning in January, Sunday School classes will study and discuss the book “9 Marks of a Healthy Church”. Men’s groups, Women’s Bible Study, and many in the community will also focus on this book to start 2020. There will also be Sunday evening classes for our Sunday School teachers. This is a great way for us to grow deeper in our understanding of God’s design for the church. One copy of the book has been made available to each family in the church. Please grab your copy from the table in the coffee area. There you will also find a sign-up sheet for anyone who would like more than one for their family.

#3) Christmas Eve Offering for Compassion Childcare
As a church we have a tradition of taking a special Christmas Eve offering to support Compassion Childcare. Compassion exists to strengthen working poor families. They have a two prong approach to preaching and teaching the Gospel. First, to the children each day through worship and bible reading and secondly, to the parents through case management, resource classes, housing programs, and meals. Currently, Compassion has expanded a preschool inside of our church walls which provides Christian teaching daily to preschoolers who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Please consider giving on Christmas Eve to this special organization.
