Compassion Childcare

As a church, we have a tradition of taking a special Christmas Eve offering to support Compassion Childcare. Compassion exists to strengthen working poor families. They have a two-prong approach to preaching and teaching the Gospel. First, to the children each day through worship and bible reading and secondly, to the parents through case management, resource classes, housing programs, and meals. Currently, Compassion has expanded a preschool inside of our church walls which provides Christian teaching daily to preschoolers who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Please consider giving on Christmas Eve to this special organization.

Congratulations to the Wurgler Family!

Congratulations to Ben & Erin Wurgler  on the birth of their son, Reuben Neil Wurgler.  He was born on 12/02/2021  and weighed 9 lbs 10 oz.  Reuben was welcomed home by siblings Elsie, Henrik & Otto.

Thank you from the Burgards

Many thanks to our church family for the cards, phone calls, visits and food.  Most of all, thank you for the many prayers for a successful surgery and healing.  Dick and I have been so blessed and encouraged by all your support.  With grateful hearts, Dick & Marjane Burgard
