The Big 3

#1) An Evening of Baptism
This spring we are going to have a service of baptism and profession of faith. We encourage each of you to come out for this celebration of God’s grace. If interested, please mark your connection card or contact the office.
 
#2) FEFC Men’s Conference—March 20-21
Men! Registration is open for this year’s Men’s Conference. Dr Mike Hagan will be our guest speaker, teaching on the Psalms. Dr Hagan is the former President of Sioux Falls Seminary and the current pastor at First Baptist Church in George, IA. You can register starting today in the café area. Cost is $25/person and includes dinner on Friday the 20th, as well as a light breakfast and full lunch on Saturday the 21st. The deadline for registration is March 8th. #3) Hidden Acres Early Bird Registration
This summer we would love to send as many students as possible to Hidden Acres, a fantastic Christian Camp in Dayton, Iowa. The church office will provide a $175 voucher for any student who wants to attend. And if you register online by March 31st you will receive $20 off. Just visit  HACamps.org for more information and to register your children.
 
Also note, we will be hosting our own VBS this summer July 12-17. More details soon.

College & Career Adults: At FEFC we value you, our college and career young men and women, and want to be a blessing to you. We would like contact information for college age students as well as those of you already traveling your career path. Women’s Discipleship Opportunities:
Thursday Morning – (March 19, 9-11 AM)
The Wisdom of God by Nancy Guthrie: Seeing Jesus in the Psalms & Wisdom books.  This is a 10 week in-depth study of the Old Testament Wisdom Literature of the Bible, with the goal of understanding it in the way that Jesus himself taught the disciples to read and understand the Old Testament: with him at the center. Cost $13  There will be a deadline for registration of March 8th so that materials may be ordered. (Lesson 1 will be discussed week 1 – March 19.)

Tuesday Evening – (March 24, 7-8:30 PM – every other Tuesday)
Ruth by Jen Wilkin  This is a 4 week study of the book of Ruth.  There will be a deadline for registration of March 17th so that materials may be printed and distributed.  (The Intro and Lesson 1 will be discussed week 1 – March 24.)
