The Big 3

#1) An Evening of Baptism
On Sunday, April 19th at 6pm we are going to have a service of baptism and profession of faith. We encourage each of you to come out for this celebration of God’s grace. If interested, please mark your connection card or contact the office. 
#2) Women’s Bible Studies
Thursday Mornings – (March 19, 9-11 AM): The Wisdom of God: Seeing Jesus in the Psalms & Wisdom Books by Nancy Guthrie (10 sessions)
Tuesday Evenings – (March 24, 7-8:30 pm): Study of Ruth by Jen Wilkin (4 weeks, every other Tuesday)

#3) FEFC Men’s Conference—March 20-21
Men! Registration is open for this year’s Men’s Conference. Dr Mike Hagan will be our guest speaker, teaching on the Psalms. Dr Hagan is the former President of Sioux Falls Seminary and the current pastor at First Baptist Church in George, IA. You can register in the café area. Cost is $25/person and includes dinner on Friday the 20th, as well as a light breakfast and full lunch on Saturday the 21st. The deadline for registration is March 8th. Women’s Gathering/ Fellowship Night: Tuesday, March 10th – If you are able, join us at 6:30 pm for a shared potluck dinner. Otherwise, come at 7 for our usual time.  We will be discussing “How to Care for Someone Battling Anxiety and  Depression”  We’ll make soup if you’ll bring the sides! If coming at 7:00 bring either sweet or savory goody to share – no peanuts please. We look forward to having you join us!
Book Giveaway—March 8: On Sunday, March 8th a book giveaway is underway. This event is put on by the FEFC Library Committee. Please visit the tables in the nursery/library hallway for free books.
Hidden Acres Early Bird Registration: This summer we would love to send as many students as possible to Hidden Acres, a fantastic Christian Camp in Dayton, Iowa. The church office will provide a $175 voucher for any student who wants to attend. And if you register online by March 31st you will receive $20 off. Also note, we will be hosting our own VBS this summer July 12-17. More details soon. 
Nine Marks Sunday School Classes: Adult Sunday School classes are studying and discussing the book Nine Marks of a Healthy Church. This is a great way for us to grow deeper in our understanding of God’s design for the church.
