Nomination Review Committee

We are seeking nominations for church treasurer and elder. If you want to nominate someone, please contact a member of the nominating committee by November 7th. Nominating committee members are: Pastor Randy Anderson, Randy Hofer, Michael Bender, John Massa, Jean Bender, Lisa Soundy, and Scott Anderson. Thank you.

 Women’s Thanksgiving Event—Nov. 18th

You won’t want to miss this evening to join other FEFC women as women from the congregation share “Testimonies of His Goodness."  We will be gathering at 6:30 pm when the doors open for cider and appetizers.  At 7 pm we will share a time of thanksgiving for the ways the Lord has been at work as well as a time of praise with Eric and Jenni.  Registration is required and will be $5.00. You are encouraged to bring daughters ages 12-18 as well.  Pre-registration needed for all!   You can register in the office after November 3rd and in the foyer on the two Sundays prior (November 7th and November 14th). Mark your calendars and do invite a friend!

 

AWANA

Awana will be having their Christmas store coming up the first couple weeks of December.   If you have nice quality used or new items that you think would make a great gift idea for fathers, mothers or siblings and would like to donate them to the store please contact us so we can make arrangements to have them picked up.  Thank you!!  AMONG Celebration

AMONG is celebrating 30 years of ministry. Join us in the Fellowship Hall on Nov 13th for a time of fellowship and sharing at 3:30pm. Dinner and celebration program staring at 6pm. Please RSVP by November 4th by calling 605-330-2745.

 Operation Christmas Child

Starting this year, First Ev. Free is the regional collection site for shoeboxes.  We need volunteers to help with accepting and storing local donations at our church.  Please sign up at the OCC display or call the church office. Return your filled shoeboxes by Saturday, November 21st!

 Postlude Musicians

We're looking for musicians to play in the postlude after the Christmas Program on Sunday, December 12th. Anyone from middle school to age 101 is welcome and your ability can be anywhere from advanced to "so so." Practices will be in the music room Sundays from 5pm-6pm starting Sunday, Nov 7th. We are having a baptism service on Sunday evening November 14.  Please contact an elder, a pastor or the office if you are interested in being baptized.
