#1) Church Leadership Nominations

The Elder Board has formed a Nomination Committee for Church leadership positions for 2019. The committee is made up of the senior pastor, elder board chairman, an elder at large, two men with prior leadership positions, and two women with prior leadership positions. This year's committee will be Pastor Randy, John Massa, Brent Taubert, Lee DeLange, Ivan Voss, Lisa Soundy, and Jean Bender. There will be two elder positions open as both Barry Termaat and Brent Taubert are completing their terms this year. We will also be seeking a Trustee Deacon and Missions Deacon. There is a two week time frame beginning, September 30, through Sunday, October 14, in which members of the congregation can nominate candidates for any of the above positions. If you want to make a nomination, please contact any member of the committee sometime over the next two weeks.

#2) Second Sunday Potluck

Here at First E Free we are a family of disciples. In order to live this out, numerous people have been gathering on the second Sunday of the month for an after church potluck. You are invited to be a part of this meal. Join your church family next Sunday, October 14, and every second Sunday, in the fellowship hall. If you'd like a regular reminder of these potlucks, please email the church office.

#3) Women’s Ministry Event

“Desserts for 6” October 18, at 7 pm.  Please join Women’s Ministries for an evening of hospitality and fellowship. Would you be willing to host 5 women in your home for dessert? You may sign up to host or to attend in the foyer the next two Sundays. It will be a great way to connect and get to know women in our congregation! Contact Mary Lynne at with any questions.

Allergy Notice

Due to severe peanut allergies in our congregation, we can absolutely have NO peanut products in our building.  This applies to any day of the week and for any activity you may be attending in our building.

We have attendees with fragrance allergies. We have designated the first six rows of the left section of our sanctuary (as you look at the stage) for them.  If you wear fragrances, we would appreciate you avoiding that area.

We will only be sending the boxes to students living on campus, or those who are in off campus housing. We will not be sending packages to those students living at home with their parents.
